1 week

Coach Ding Gives Tips on Horse Stance

Morning class could be longer as stated in the program schedule. Ought to be 45min x 3 classes vs only the 1hr in the morning. Noon classes on Tues and Thurs could be better if there was a teacher on those classes as that was what we expected given especially the short tenor of 1 week that we were there. However, was surprise there was no teacher.

5. Any tips on getting the most from your training?
As long as teacher available in class, many valuable tips can be obtained. Learn and observed the youth training there too. Can also pick up the positive learning attitude of the youth training in class.

6: How was your language class and teacher?
Not applicable, didn't take this class.

7: Any tips on making Chinese easy to remember?
Not applicable, didn't take this class.

8. How was your cultural class and teacher?
Not applicable, didn't take this class.

After Wushu class             Climb the Great Wall

9: What was your accommodation like?
Rooms were clean and Feng Chui (hope I get the name right the girl at reception) was excellent. Went out of way to make our stay excellent.

10: Did you meet many Chinese people?
Yes!it fact my son made many friends and they all treated him like a little brother. Kudos to Chao Qun who took care of my son. (do help say thanks to him!)

11: What do you think of Beijing?
Great place. Great history. Definitely will be back.

12: What is your favourite thing about China?
The history, the people.

13: What do you think of Chinese food? And what is your favourite Chinese dish?
My son's favourite xiao long bao and peking duck.

14: Why did you choose SCIC Beijing's Program ?
As my son school in Singapore did a trip with the school last year which he missed.

15. What benefits did you get from the course?
Valuable tips on wushu. Plus friendships made along the way.

16: Any tips for other students going to China for training and study?
Go with open mind! Eat and play with the locals! Immerse in the culture! Shinn had fun playing shuttercork at park and taichi with the locals too.

17. Will you come to China again?
Definitely! Already planning next trip.

Shinn is very focused on the class
